My blog: http://exopolitics.blogspot.com/

A friend of mine Jeff Adams struck up a conversation with a individual involved in the patriot community and pretty soon they got to talking about UFO/ET. Jeff knows the guy’s real name but obviously does not want it spread around. The following email conversations were from a few months ago before Avatar came out. I only published bits and pieces of this in other articles in the past for fear of getting this individual in trouble and ending the conversation prematurely.

Jeff said go ahead and put this all out as both he and this individual have moved on to other interests. I see no reason to expect this individual was lying to Jeff and most likely did not realize that this information would become public. There is some good stuff here that hopefully others can collaborate in this email exchange. Jeff also talked to this person by phone.

To Jeff: I could tell you some stuff that would curl your hair, and make you go HUH?A lot of it borders on sci-fi and the unbelievable. What is it you want to know? When we actually put a man on the moon? Our moon-base(yes we have one) Experimental aircraft, or where our tech really has led us? Let me know, and I can tell you what I know! Plus the fact that my step dad worked for NASA, as well as my brother and cousin (both of whom are a-nauts)

Don’t like the AR-15 myself. Would rather have an AK. Or an M1A(M-14 clone), G-3 or FN. And a good 45 auto or 9mm. to back it up. A scope mounted long range shooter is also good. And lots of ammo and spare parts, scattered over a wide area. Food for at least a week, and med supplies( and the knowledge of how to use it). Store stuff, here and there, so if you get cut off from resupply, you can still get to it.

To Jeff:
Here’s a condensed version of my step-dads report: In August of 1982 a family of 8 was reported missing from their small farm north of Mora , Sweden [this is near lake Siljan, in the middle of the country]The family consisted of a father, mother, 4 children(2 boys, 2 girls) an uncle and a grandfather. Ages of the children was between 8 and 14.The family was reported missing after the father and uncle failed to show up for work on Monday at a local knife factory [Mora Knife Works]. No signs of a struggle were seen in the home, however the following odd things were noted: family pictures were missing from their frames, clothing was missing, closets were empty, tools were missing from a shed, livestock and pets were missing, hunting weapons were gone, and a family Bible was missing [every good Swedish family has a family Bible].

All three men were in the same home-guard unit. All of their weapons and uniforms were missing. There was no history of mental illness. No history of child/sexual abuse. No history of drug/excess alcohol use. Money was found in bank accounts. The family was not in serious debt. NATO HQ North in Brussels was contacted when several odd depressions and burn marks were noted in a field in the back of the house.LT.GEN ‘L’ [my step-dad] and a team were dispatched to investigate.

They were shown several depressions in the ground located midway between the house and the back edge of the property. These depressions formed a circle 48 meters across. It consisted of 8 ‘holes’, 4 small, 4 large, forming the circle. The large ones were 1 meter across, the small ones .75 meters across. The holes were evenly spaced and alternated, big, small, big, and etc. The inside of the holes were burned to ash, and were irradiated. In the center of the circle was an area of smashed vegetation twisted in a clockwise manner [like a crop circle].It was not irradiated, but emitted large amounts of EME [electro-magnetic energy].

The family has yet to be found. My step-dads last notation was in August 2002, so he was following up on the case. His last notation was: I must assume from the evidence and the lack of bodies or body parts, that the family in question has departed this planet on a voluntary basis for places or parts unknown.

This is where I come in.In 1989, and again 1999, I visited the site. On both trips I noted that grass still would not grow in the hole, even though the hole were filled in. Bugs would not enter the circle, which was OK for the new owner, who said ‘once you get past the tingly sensation on the back of your neck, it’s a great place to sit and read’! If you went into the circle, you got the sensation that you get from sticking a wet hand in a light socket! And this was 7 and 17 years after the fact! My conclusion? Same as my step-dads.

To Jeff: Just got off with some friends in the know. Here is what they had to add. They also told me what to look for — (deleted for security reasons)There are 7 major and 57 minor alien races in our section of the universe. If we expand to include our galaxy, the number rises to 11 and 124. So much for the ‘no life in the rest of the universe’ theory!! LOL :)

I make a study of transplanted colonies, so I’ll drive in that direction for a while. The nearest human colony not on earth in the trinary star system of Alpha Centari. The colony is, I have been told, on a moon of the 4th. planet. Imagine Endor w/o the Ewoks. The colony has been there for years (i.e. 1970′s) and was seeded by people from Earth by the Nordics. These people are what I call ‘choice primitives’, that is, they live at a tech level that is lower then their home planet, by choice. They live, I am told at a level equal to Earth ca.1940. Think ‘The Village’ with airmail! LOLThe colony is aware of ET’s and spacecraft, and interact with them for trade purposes. They are an agricultural and forestry producing planet(that’s a duh).

Don’t know the population, but I would assume that it is small. Most are, I would assume, from Europe and North America. The Nordics and the Greys had an alliance which fell apart at this same time. The Nordics, who can be quite warlike when they want to be, opened up a can of whoopass on the Greys, and the war cost the Greys a lot of ground. The Greys were apparently using the Nordics for their own purposes, and the Nordics were not amused. The US/EU/UN still works with the Greys, so we all know where this going to end.

It would appear that the Nordics and their friends are the only allies we have out there. The rest want us as slave labor, breeding material, or food. Yes there are aliens that eat people. There are, I have been told, several other colonies out there, within ‘shouting distance of Earth. I for one have no problem in believing this, and have been studying it for years.

Apparently, the colonies are arranged by race (whites are NOT the only race that the Nordics deal with), and then by language. So if, you were a white English speaking guyyou would be put with your own kind. The tech level is kept low on purpose. One, low tech worlds don’t attract attention to passers by. Two, they ( Both the Nordics and the colonists) don’t want to wind up in the same place we are now.Makes sense to me.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the Nordics are going to come down and save us all! Far from it. I think they are very selective in who they choose. And, they don’t appear to take large groups. One or two people at a time. Although I have heard rumors that have taken families of up to 8!About their ships.

The N’s ( I’m getting tired of spelling out the word) use the ‘classic’ flying saucer, and have for years. They also use the triangle shaped ships as well. Difference is, the triangles are armed. Their answer to an PT boat or Sub-chaser. They are used as AMC’s as well. AMC=Armed Merchant Cruiser or Carrier. Those big triangles in AZ a few years back? Our buds the N’s.And guess what they wanted? Sand. Yes, sand. Sand, salt, lead and water are the 4 biggest trade items in the ‘verse!!The saucers are more benign. But they don’t seem to using them much anymore. See more triangles now.

Billy Myer or Mayer. You should read up on him. Guy had one arm and lived in Switzerland back in the 60′s and 70′s. Everyone thought he was a nut. He had contact of the 4th kind with the N’s.I guess it would not be an abduction if you left voluntarily, huh? HMM :) More on leaving this place next time.

To Jeff: I took the opposite approach and went low key. My step-father was a more then one star general in the USAF,and even my men in the guard don’t know it. Well, maybe one or two, along with the AG, who happened to know my dad from back in Vietnam. I really don’t want folks to know who I am, or how well trained I and my men really are. To put in on the table, I have served in two navies and four armies, been to 36 countries, all 50 states, and all the provinces in Canada. I worked for the JPL and NASA, so I know how the bastards work. It’s just trying to figure out how to defeat them that I am having a problem with. (Patriot conversation omitted)

To Jeff: Some notes on Alpha-Centauri: The primary star of AC is only a little bigger then our sun. A gas giant could circle it and still have a moon that supported life. The main planet would be about 3-4 AU’s away from AC1, or about double the distance that Mars is from the Sun. The moon would have to be 750k to 1m miles from the planet, or about 4 times the distance from Earth to the moon. A year would be about 1.5 earth years long. AC2 sits at a distance of 22 AU’s, give or take, and would not give off a lot of radiation or light.

When the moon was facing it,it would be equal to a full moon an a clear night on Earth. That noted, the ‘sun’ would always be shining, as the moon would be facing one or the other all the time. AC3 sits at a distance of .14 LY, and is to small to matter much. Assuming the moon is Mars or Earth sized, the gravity level would be about normal.

Since the N’s are from a thin air, lower gravity world, one would assume that they don’t spend much time on the moon, which I am guessing is very Earth like. Since it is supposed to be forested, by trees of great size, one could also assume that it has animal life of great size as well. Just thought I would throw this past you!

To Jeff:
The tall greys are the most prominent group that we are interacting with. They made contact in the 1930′s and have been working with us hand in hand since the late 40′s.The triangle ships are operated by the Nordics. They come, I am told , from a star cluster in the 7 sister’s/Pleaides Group. The wormholes use huge amounts of energy, and when operated from earth, tend to draw attention. You can only keep them ‘fired up’ for short periods of time before they break down. Also, wormhole generators work best away from a gravity well such as Earth.

Now, mind you, I am a Marine Engineer by trade, so some of this is guess work, or what I have been told.Or common sense! Questions are how you gain info. No ? no info!! :) My step-father was connected to MJ-12, so I’m not worried. At most I will get yelled at and called a nut. ‘course they say that about Hoagland and Lear as well!

Have never met a grey. Met Nordics, or people that I though were Nordics. They seem to be on the good guy’s side in the war down here, and have a strong distaste for the greys! There is rumor of grey/human hybrids. I have seen video and pics, but have never met one. Sad, but the video of the hybrid that I saw was, well, kinda cute ( it was a female).Very thin with almost asian features and long dark hair, grey eyes and a small face. If you saw her on the street, you would think that she was a young asian schoolgirl who didn’t eat much! Scary!!

To Jeff:
The base on Mars is the other end of the wormhole. They don’t like to send people through it though. People are send by STL ships, so yes one could conclude that OSW(Office of Solar Warden) is involved!

Nordic society is well, Nordic society. Imagine what the Vikings would have become had they not been hit by the black death and the dark ages. No, they spoke to me, although I am sure they are telepathic, they preferred to speak to me. They enjoy being around ‘people of their kind’, that is well, folks from a Scandinavian or European background. Simple logic there I guess.

Some of there ships are huge, being over 300 meters in length. Never been on one, but would sure like to. The Nordics appear to be galactic babysitters. But since most people are in denial, they ignore most people Folks that are multilingual, real well trained in any field of the military or sciences, can expect a visit. Hell, they may visited you, and you didn’t know it!!

Not all of them are tall. the ones I have seen look quite normal and varied from human standards, although I have never seen a fat one!LOL :) Don’t know much of the planets they call home, except that they are a long way from here, and that they have FTL drives on there ships that ‘fold’ space and that they like strawberry ice cream and stormy weather!

I suspect that the Nordics may have been responsible for the disapperance of the Norse colonies on Greenland and of the ones in the US. FYI the Norse made it as far west as WA state and had a colony in OK.Also had folks in OH, MN and WI, a long time before Columbus got lost. They may have had a colony in BC as well. Still working on that one. Remember that the NW passage was open then, so one could, if they were really brave, sail it around AK to BC.The colonies were isolated and the Nordics needed, um well, genetic material, and so they came and got them. The Norse would have thought they were Gods and gone right along. Well, gonna go!

The following is another similar disappearance case that I just saw on Facebook that sounds similar to the disappearance case above that inspired me to write up the case above and get it out in the public domain:

Ufo Sydney Australia
‎…On April 20, maritime authorities caught up with the boat and boarded it. They found the three-man crew missing in circumstances which they described as being “strange.”[2][3] “What they found was a bit strange in that everything was normal; there was just no sign of the crew.” — Jon Hall, Queensland’s Emergency Management office.[2]

In a statement delivered on the day of the boarding, officials with the Queensland Emergency Management Office revealed that the yacht was in serviceable condition and was laid out as if the crew were still on board. Food and flatware were set out on the table, a laptop computer was set up and turned on, and the engine was still running.

Officials also confirmed that the boat’s emergency systems, including its radio and GPS were fully functional, and that it still had its full complement of life jackets.[2][3] According to news sources, there was even a small boat still hoisted on the back of the boat and the anchor was up.[6] The only signs, other than the disappearance of the crew, that were out of the ordinary, were damage to one of the boat’s sails and that there was no life raft on board (it is unknown whether there ever was one aboard).[2][3]

Experts Call On UN To Prepare For Extraterrestrials

The United Nations (UN) should prepare a course of action, just in case the Earth should ever be contacted by extraterrestrials, scientists say in a new, extraterrestrial focused edition of the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A.

The special issue, according to Guardian Science Correspondent Alok Jha, focuses on “all aspects of the search for extraterrestrial life, from astronomy and biology to the political and religious fallout that would result from alien contact.”

The issue is currently available online and is dated February 13, 2011.

In one article, Professor John Zarnecki of the Open University and Dr Martin Dominik of the University of St. Andrews say that “a lack of co-ordination can be avoided by creating an overarching framework in a truly global effort governed by an international politically legitimated body.” The UN’s Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) is ready made for the task, they argue.

According to the organization’s official website, COPUOS was established by the UN General Assembly in 1959 in order to “review the scope of international cooperation in peaceful uses of outer space, to devise programs in this field to be undertaken under United Nations auspices, to encourage continued research and the dissemination of information on outer space matters, and to study legal problems arising from the exploration of outer space.”

Other studies included in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A include a paper by Cambridge University Evolutionary Paleobiology Professor Simon Conway Morris advising those preparing for alien contact to prepare for a species that shares human-like tendencies “towards violence and exploitation,” and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary Professor Ted Peter reflecting upon the impact of extraterrestrial contact on the world’s religions.

“Because our religious traditions formulated their key beliefs within an ancient world view now out of date, would shocking new knowledge dislodge our pre-modern dogmas? Are religious believers Earth-centric, so that contact with ET would de-centre and marginalize our sense of self-importance?” Peters, a professor of systematic theology, wrote, according to the Guardian.

“Do our traditional religions rank us human beings on top of life’s hierarchy, so if we meet ETI who are smarter than us will we lose our superior rank? If we are created in God’s image, as the biblical traditions teach, will we have to share that divine image with our new neighbors?” he adds, noting that he believed traditional theologians would evolve into “astrotheologians” and that “contact with extraterrestrial intelligence will expand the existing religious vision that all of creation… is the gift of a loving and gracious God.”

The Tall White ET’s

My blog: http://exopolitics.blogspot.com/

“Worse yet was the behavior of a Tall White who was reportedly climbing the steps of a Washington DC government building to meet with a presumably limited number of US legislators. Hall said a CIA guard tried to help a Tall White female up the stairs at the Congressional building, but the guard accidentally hurt the Tall White female, who threatened the CIA guard and he had to beg her to spare his life. Apparently, the female threatened to kill him with a pencil-like device, right there, on the stairs.” George LoBuono quoting Hall.

“Hall saw Air Force generals return from distant, hours-long trips with Tall Whites on their antigravity craft. Hall says, “When the USAF Generals got off the craft they were laughing like they had just come back from the world’s best amusement park.”” George LoBuono

It would appear that information on the extraterrestrial race called the Tall Whites has passed under the radar of most people in the UFO/ET field. I have found the material by Charles Hall and backed up by several witnesses who have reported seeing the Tall Whites to be compelling. This is the key Open Seti article on Charles Hall and the Tall Whites. http://openseti.org/Hall.html . If you look to the right margin of this article there is a list of links to other Tall White Interviews and material. I will add more links to the bottom of this article as I find them.

I would like to be clear that even though Charles Hall has given incredible detail about the TW there is much supporting evidence from other sources making this case pretty darn solid. Here is another interesting bit of supporting evidence found by Tom Fox who himself has seen the TW near Indian Springs NV while camping in the desert and in Las Vegas. I will put his story below the other links I have been accumulating that show many people have been interacting with the TW over the years.

George LoBuono said: I connected the dots on this one : “Col Major Wilson had begun his duties at the Papoose Lake installation, still not knowing what existed 30 stories farther down. He had been well indoctrinated in Top Secret work and knew all the consequences of keeping the nation’s most guarded secrets. The past six years had been slow and boring, he recalls, and other than what he saw at Wright-Patterson AFB, he felt that he was in a vacuum going nowhere.

He was sitting in his office at S-4 mulling this over one morning, when a Lieutenant Colonel Bennet came in. He asked Wilson if he was busy, (“Like he gave a damn,” Wilson recalls), and said “Let’s go.” Wilson followed the Lieutenant Colonel, and they eventually wound up two stories down at the super-secret “S-4″ UFO technology area. As they came out on a landing there, Wilson saw eight different kinds of UFOs!

There were intellectual-looking people all over the area, whom he guessed were scientists. He glanced at Bennett, who cut off his implied question with a curt “Forget it.” The Colonel and the Major went into a cubicle where there were about twenty officers and civilians sitting around. Wilson was startled, when a woman came in who was at least eight feet tall. There was not an ounce of excess fat on her body, he recalls. She wore a strange-looking jump suit, which had a * HI * pattern on the right side above the breast line. To this day Wilson recollects the details of this striking encounter.

“The woman had finely-chiseled features. Her blonde hair cascaded neatly past her shoulders. Her eyes were the bluest blue I’d ever seen. Somehow she was different. Little did I know then, how different! She sat a large crystal on the table, and without warning, her fingers began to glow as she ran them over this crystal. A 3-D hologram began to form above it! I looked around the room and everyone’s mouth was hanging open, and suddenly I noticed mine was, too. Little did I realize that at that moment my life would forever be changed. My past teachings slipped from me as I stared. My whole concept of life did a 180-degree turn, as I watched the Hologram, complete with sound, unfold the mysteries of the past and the present, and of other worlds.”

Colonel Wilson related that among the scenes, which the female extraterrestrial’s crystal hologram displayed for the assembled group, was the history of the Earth and of extraterrestrial involvement with it. That involvement included fashioning the consciousness of Jesus and sending him to live among Earthlings to point to a better way to understand life and to live. The extraterrestrial woman also showed the officers and scientists scenes from inhabited planets of other star systems. Wilson was transformed by this experience. When it was over, I knew that, whatever part I was to play in all of this, my life as I knew it had ended forever.”

I have run across cases that seem to be Tall White cases on the Internet. This Russian case in which divers were killed in a severe defensive reaction sounds a lot like the Tall Whites.http://www.alieneight.com/alien-encounters-the-russian-navy-and-aquatic-ufos.htm I have also seen cases on Colin Andrews’s website involving TW and crop circles. (I will put in these links when I find them again.)

The many reports of Tall Whites, not just by Charles Hall, have not yet captured the imagination of the UFO community. For this reason the TW have not been trashed by the usual contactee flakes and charlatans making a living off of UFO/ET lecture circuit What Charles Hall has done is quietly slip the information on the TW to the UFO/ET community in his four books and his interviews with little fanfare or publicity. The intention I suppose is to let the information slowly trickle out in a manner that educates the public about the TW. The NSA’s Dan Sherman did this same sort of thing.

The Charles Hall story takes place on the Nellis AFB bombing ranges, 1,2,3, and 4 up toward Tonopath. Steven Greer interviewed a very credible whistle-blower who describes extremely tight security on the Tonopath ranges. If there is nothing up there then why such tight security? http://www.youtube.com/csetiweb#p/a/u/0/yytSNQ2ogD4

I was a little late to the party as the Open Seti folks, Stribner, Sweeps,Michael Salla and Kivin Smith got on to this before me. I have been catching up and after I reading the last two books by Charles I should have read everything that is available so far. Of course I would not have got so interested in the TW if I had not run into other witness testimony that backs up Charles’s story. One of the Open Seti folks ran into a TW in Laughlin Nevada, Sweeps in the UK saw a couple of TW going through his garbage after he publicized them in Europe, and Tom Fox who I met on the Internet has run into the TW both in the desert and in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Recently George Flier had a 1970s satellite photo of a TW ship on his Fliers Files. http://brumac.8k.com/DMSP/DMSP.html The photo fit the description of the bus like ship described in detail in Charles second book. The picture was sent to Charles and was confirmed by him. This craft is described also in this Kevin Smith interview with Charles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xArb2ldO9FA&feature=related Charles communicates very little with the public and still is working as an atomic physicist in New Mexico in the black world. I am told he is closely monitored.

It’s my guess is he is working on electrogravitic propulsion systems as he started reading the TW’s minds on their propulsion systems in the encounters of the 1960′s as recorded in his books. This was of concern to the TW at the time. According to Charles they did not mind sharing with the military, shuttle technology, but deep space propulsion systems was another matter.

There are only a couple of references to other ET types in Hall’s material. He said the the TW lost a war to the Annunaki and the following. Tom Fox said, “Airman Charles Hall suggests that Air Force generals thought the Tall Whites were near-enemies of the grays. Hall: “I am quite certain that the Tall Whites and the Short Greys hate each other. I am quite certain that the Tall Whites would never permit the Short Greys to come anywhere near their base areas or near to their housing areas or anywhere that their children might be playing, etc.” But what is Hall’s basis for that assumption? I asked him, and he replied, “I was with the Tall Whites for over two years. Various remarks were made, and in particular, the Teacher (a Tall White) made the point quite clear to me.” (Charles Hall, personal email to the author 3-13-09).”

Those that know Charles say he is very religious and truthful. He did write the first two books that I have read as fiction, but he has said later that they are factual except for some changes of places and names. I have ordered the second two books but have not received them yet.

Here are more links from Tox Fox’s Facebook notes page some are the same as on the Open Seti key Charles Hall page.

Tom Fox’s experience with the TW.
By Tom Fox on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 8:36am

It actually started back in the 60′s I did a homework assignment were I clipped out a time magazine article entitled- Who were they? It showed a picture of the Talls all dressed-up having crashed a embassy ball ! Yet, these ambassadors from N Spain were not invited, tried to fit in . Hall tells me the issues of the magazine were recalled .

My dad worked for the FBI. In the ’80s at a used book store I came across the lost book of the Talls, written by a NJ housewife who befriended military personal , photos of Talls were used in book. I tried emailing many ufo-book-sources ,to no avail. Charles Hall once owned the book yet it vanished. Anyone who has or knows of this book please contact me. It’s about 150 pages ,dark front cover, black n white photos.

It must of been confiscated. Then in ’90 I came out of the bathroom of the Tropicana Casino late one night and noticed 4 Talls, one was climbing the stairs in a most peculiar manor. I later found it was due to not being used to earth gravity, thus a new arrival. I was dumbfounded. I felt guilty for staring as they turned to watch me.

Charles Hall informed me who they were. It was 15 yrs later that I heard the Charles Hall interview .He informed me that they play poker at nearby casinos. I went back and confirmed that those stairs led to the poker room! (The casino was remodeled but workers shared what it was like then. In 2005 I camped near their Indian Springs Base – scout craft came out one night, signaled my light, it went in reverse and hid in a cloud.

A few nights later one levitated-about nearby. A Tall guard descended down from the ridge. A few nights later one appeared behind where I was camped . It was levitating and dancing about . I tried signaling, it would stop and would change its luminosity, then go back to various movements. I walked towards it ,yet it was miles to the back and before long I couldn’t see it anymore. One thing I didn’t mention was that another light which looked like a being illuminated descended from the Wheeler Ridge area . This I believed to be a TW-guard.

DNA Can be Influenced and Reprogrammed by Words and Frequencies

Russian DNA Discoveries:
 Original version
[posted here: Friday, June 10, 2011 @ 4:15 AM]

THE HUMAN DNA IS A BIOLOGICAL INTERNET and superior in many aspects to the artificial one. The latest Russian scientific research directly or indirectly explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light/auras around people (namely spiritual masters), mind’s influence on weather patterns and much more. In addition, there is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes.

Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered “junk DNA.” The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of “junk DNA.” Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary! According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and in communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar.

They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.

The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. [For the sake of brevity I will give only a summary here. For further exploration please refer to the appendix at the end of this article.] The bottom line was: “Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation.” This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself. Since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and of language (as explained earlier) are of the same structure, no DNA decoding is necessary.

One can simply use words and sentences of the human language! This, too, was experimentally proven! Living DNA substance (in living tissue, not in vitro) will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves, if the proper frequencies are being used.

This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, autogenous training, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies. It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language. While western researchers cut single genes from the DNA strands and insert them elsewhere, the Russians enthusiastically worked on devices that can influence the cellular metabolism through suitable modulated radio and light frequencies and thus repair genetic defects.

Garjajev’s research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome.
So they successfully transformed, for example, frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns! This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting out and re-introducing single genes from the DNA. This represents an unbelievable, world-transforming revolution and sensation! All this by simply applying vibration and language instead of the archaic cutting-out procedure! This experiment points to the immense power of wave genetics, which obviously has a greater influence on the formation of organisms than the biochemical processes of alkaline sequences.

Esoteric and spiritual teachers have known for ages that our body is programmable by language, words and thought. This has now been scientifically proven and explained. Of course the frequency has to be correct. And this is why not everybody is equally successful or can do it with always the same strength. The individual person must work on the inner processes and maturity in order to establish a conscious communication with the DNA. The Russian researchers work on a method that is not dependent on these factors but will ALWAYS work, provided one uses the correct frequency.

But the higher developed an individual’s consciousness is, the less need is there for any type of device! One can achieve these results by oneself, and science will finally stop to laugh at such ideas and will confirm and explain the results. And it doesn’t end there.
The Russian scientists also found out that our DNA can cause disturbing patterns in the vacuum, thus producing magnetized wormholes! Wormholes are the microscopic equivalents of the so-called Einstein-Rosen bridges in the vicinity of black holes (left by burned-out stars).
These are tunnel connections between entirely different areas in the universe through which information can be transmitted outside of space and time. The DNA attracts these bits of information and passes them on to our consciousness. This process of hypercommunication is most effective in a state of relaxation. Stress, worries or a hyperactive intellect prevent successful hypercommunication or the information will be totally distorted and useless.

In nature, hypercommunication has been successfully applied for millions of years. The organized flow of life in insect states proves this dramatically. Modern man knows it only on a much more subtle level as “intuition.” But we, too, can regain full use of it. An example from Nature: When a queen ant is spatially separated from her colony, building still continues fervently and according to plan. If the queen is killed, however, all work in the colony stops. No ant knows what to do. Apparently the queen sends the “building plans” also from far away via the group consciousness of her subjects. She can be as far away as she wants, as long as she is alive. In man hypercommunication is most often encountered when one suddenly gains access to information that is outside one’s knowledge base. Such hypercommunication is then experienced as inspiration or intuition. The Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini for instance dreamt one night that a devil sat at his bedside playing the violin. The next morning Tartini was able to note down the piece exactly from memory, he called it the Devil’s Trill Sonata.

For years, a 42-year old male nurse dreamt of a situation in which he was hooked up to a kind of knowledge CD-ROM. Verifiable knowledge from all imaginable fields was then transmitted to him that he was able to recall in the morning. There was such a flood of information that it seemed a whole encyclopedia was transmitted at night. The majority of facts were outside his personal knowledge base and reached technical details about which he knew absolutely nothing.

When hypercommunication occurs, one can observe in the DNA as well as in the human being special phenomena. The Russian scientists irradiated DNA samples with laser light. On screen a typical wave pattern was formed. When they removed the DNA sample, the wave pattern did not disappear, it remained. Many control experiments showed that the pattern still came from the removed sample, whose energy field apparently remained by itself. This effect is now called phantom DNA effect. It is surmised that energy from outside of space and time still flows through the activated wormholes after the DNA was removed. The side effect encountered most often in hypercommunication also in human beings are inexplicable electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of the persons concerned. Electronic devices like CD players and the like can be irritated and cease to function for hours. When the electromagnetic field slowly dissipates, the devices function normally again. Many healers and psychics know this effect from their work. The better the atmosphere and the energy, the more frustrating it is that the recording device stops functioning and recording exactly at that moment. And repeated switching on and off after the session does not restore function yet, but next morning all is back to normal. Perhaps this is reassuring to read for many, as it has nothing to do with them being technically inept, it means they are good at hypercommunication.

In their book “Vernetzte Intelligenz” (Networked Intelligence), Grazyna Gosar and Franz Bludorf explain these connections precisely and clearly.
The authors also quote sources presuming that in earlier times humanity had been, just like the animals, very strongly connected to the group consciousness and acted as a group. To develop and experience individuality we humans however had to forget hypercommunication almost completely. Now that we are fairly stable in our individual consciousness, we can create a new form of group consciousness, namely one, in which we attain access to all information via our DNA without being forced or remotely controlled about what to do with that information. We now know that just as on the internet our DNA can feed its proper data into the network, can call up data from the network and can establish contact with other participants in the network. Remote healing, telepathy or “remote sensing” about the state of relatives etc. can thus be explained. Some animals know also from afar when their owners plan to return home. That can be freshly interpreted and explained via the concepts of group consciousness and hypercommunication. Any collective consciousness cannot be sensibly used over any period of time without a distinctive individuality. Otherwise we would revert to a primitive herd instinct that is easily manipulated.

Hypercommunication in the new millennium means something quite different: Researchers think that if humans with full individuality would regain group consciousness, they would have a god-like power to create, alter and shape things on Earth! AND humanity is collectively moving toward such a group consciousness of the new kind. Fifty percent of today’s children will be problem children as soon as the go to school. The system lumps everyone together and demands adjustment. But the individuality of today’s children is so strong that that they refuse this adjustment and giving up their idiosyncrasies in the most diverse ways.

At the same time more and more clairvoyant children are born [see the book “China’s Indigo Children” by Paul Dong or the chapter about Indigos in my book “Nutze die taeglichen Wunder” (Make Use of the Daily Wonders)]. Something in those children is striving more and more towards the group consciousness of the new kind, and it will no longer be suppressed. As a rule, weather for example is rather difficult to influence by a single individual. But it may be influenced by a group consciousness (nothing new to some tribes doing it in their rain dances). Weather is strongly influenced by Earth resonance frequencies, the so-called Schumann frequencies. But those same frequencies are also produced in our brains, and when many people synchronize their thinking or individuals (spiritual masters, for instance) focus their thoughts in a laser-like fashion, then it is scientifically speaking not at all surprising if they can thus influence weather.

Researchers in group consciousness have formulated the theory of Type I civilizations. A humanity that developed a group consciousness of the new kind would have neither environmental problems nor scarcity of energy. For if it were to use its mental power as a unified civilization, it would have control of the energies of its home planet as a natural consequence. And that includes all natural catastrophes!!! A theoretical Type II civilization would even be able to control all energies of their home galaxy. In my book “Nutze die taeglichen Wunder,” I have described an example of this: Whenever a great many people focus their attention or consciousness on something similar like Christmas time, football world championship or the funeral of Lady Diana in England then certain random number generators in computers start to deliver ordered numbers instead of the random ones. An ordered group consciousness creates order in its whole surroundings! [http://noosphere.princeton.edu/fristwall2.html] [1] When a great number of people get together very closely, potentials of violence also dissolve. It looks as if here, too, a kind of humanitarian consciousness of all humanity is created.

At the Love Parade, for example, where every year about one million of young people congregate, there has never been any brutal riots as they occur for instance at sports events. The name of the event alone is not seen as the cause here. The result of an analysis indicated rather that the number of people was TOO GREAT to allow a tipping over to violence.

To come back to the DNA: It apparently is also an organic superconductor that can work at normal body temperature. Artificial superconductors require extremely low temperatures of between 200 and 140°C to function. As one recently learned, all superconductors are able to store light and thus information. This is a further explanation of how the DNA can store information. There is another phenomenon linked to DNA and wormholes. Normally, these supersmall wormholes are highly unstable and are maintained only for the tiniest fractions of a second. Under certain conditions (read about it in the Fosar/Bludorf book above) stable wormholes can organize themselves which then form distinctive vacuum domains in which for example gravity can transform into electricity.

Vacuum domains are self-radiant balls of ionized gas that contain considerable amounts of energy. There are regions in Russia where such radiant balls appear very often. Following the ensuing confusion the Russians started massive research programs leading finally to some of the discoveries mentions above. Many people know vacuum domains as shiny balls in the sky. The attentive look at them in wonder and ask themselves, what they could be. I thought once: “Hello up there. If you happen to be a UFO, fly in a triangle.” And suddenly, the light balls moved in a triangle. Or they shot across the sky like ice hockey pucks. They accelerated from zero to crazy speeds while sliding gently across the sky. One is left gawking and I have, as many others, too, thought them to be UFOs. Friendly ones, apparently, as they flew in triangles just to please me. Now the Russians found in the regions, where vacuum domains appear often that sometimes fly as balls of light from the ground upwards into the sky, that these balls can be guided by thought. One has found out since that vacuum domains emit waves of low frequency as they are also produced in our brains.

And because of this similarity of waves they are able to react to our thoughts. To run excitedly into one that is on ground level might not be such a great idea, because those balls of light can contain immense energies and are able to mutate our genes. They can, they don’t necessarily have to, one has to say. For many spiritual teachers also produce such visible balls or columns of light in deep meditation or during energy work which trigger decidedly pleasant feelings and do not cause any harm. Apparently this is also dependent on some inner order and on the quality and provenance of the vacuum domain. There are some spiritual teachers (the young Englishman Ananda, for example) with whom nothing is seen at first, but when one tries to take a photograph while they sit and speak or meditate in hypercommunication, one gets only a picture of a white cloud on a chair. In some Earth healing projects such light effects also appear on photographs. Simply put, these phenomena have to do with gravity and anti-gravity forces that are also exactly described in the book and with ever more stable wormholes and hypercommunication and thus with energies from outside our time and space structure.

Earlier generations that got in contact with such hypercommunication experiences and visible vacuum domains were convinced that an angel had appeared before them. And we cannot be too sure to what forms of consciousness we can get access when using hypercommunication. Not having scientific proof for their actual existence (people having had such experiences do NOT all suffer from hallucinations) does not mean that there is no metaphysical background to it. We have simply made another giant step towards understanding our reality.

Official science also knows of gravity anomalies on Earth (that contribute to the formation of vacuum domains), but only of ones of below one percent. But recently gravity anomalies have been found of between three and four percent. One of these places is Rocca di Papa, south of Rome (exact location in the book “Vernetzte Intelligenz” plus several others). Round objects of all kinds, from balls to full buses, roll uphill. But the stretch in Rocca di Papa is rather short, and defying logic sceptics still flee to the theory of optical illusion (which it cannot be due to several features of the location).

Are the Visitors About to Land, and if so Should We be Afraid…Maybe VERY Afraid?

Whitley Streiber
On April 25, famed physicist Stephen Hawking warned that aliens, if they came here, might prove to be dangerous. He said, “We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach.”

Then, on June 6 the National Geographic Channel aired a special on alien invasion that essentially repeated this warning. It assembled a team of experts who were uniformly of the opinion that aliens, if they come here, are going to be dangerous and difficult to handle–assuming, that is, that they don’t simply kill or enslave us all.

Meanwhile, warnings are appearing all over the internet about a ‘false-flag’ alien attack that is supposedly going to be faked by parties unknown, presumably the government. Last week, the online prankster group Anonymous was supposed to flood UFO sites with reports of an invasion by triangular craft, but it never materialized due to the fact that we and others were tipped off about it and published warnings.

I have always wondered if the visitors might show up in a more obvious way just before or during the early stages of some great planetary catastrophe, and since we’re at that point right now, it’s worth asking what it might actually be like if they did.

I don’t agree with uninformed doomsayers like Hawking and the National Geographic Channel. They come at this from the standpoint of an intellectual and cultural establishment that is going to be devastatingly challenged by the appearance of aliens with superior science and technology. In fact, they’re going to be undercut almost to irrelevance. Think how Stephen Hawking would feel if somebody came along who could instantly and decisively close all the questions he has spent his lifetime studying? He would feel emasculated, that’s how he would feel. It would be devastating.

However, that doesn’t mean that they are necessarily evil. I spent years involved with them, and when you do that, you find out that they are extremely complex, that their ancient ways are very, very subtle and their approach to reality is very definitely different from ours. They deal with us in much the same way we might deal with primitive tribesmen whose fear makes them dangerous, or lab animals. They are wary, rough and dangerous if threatened. But if you try to engage with them, what you find is a glorious, astonishing presence, filled with wisdom and knowledge and humor, and intellectually far, far beyond our norm.

The true reason that paragons of the existing cultural establishment like Stephen Hawking and the National Georgraphioc Channel fear the visitors is that they sense that, if they do make themselves known, then their cherished world view is going to implode. And they’re right. If that happens, the cultures of science and the intellect are going to be challenged in ways as yet undreamed of.

I can see where the powers that run this struggling old world of ours would be appalled by that prospect. But I can also see that a lot of ordinary folks are going to welcome them–as they should, and precisely for the reason that Hawking and his contemporaries and colleagues fear them: they are going to bring profound and powerful change.

From my own experience, I can say that it is going to be as difficult an experience as we have ever known. But it will also be transformative. The chains draped over our shoulders by the establishment that now dominates human life are going to fall away like so much dust.

And perhaps that, more than anything, is what our leaders fear.

Western, Arab talks to focus on Libya “end-game”

Posted by Admin on June 9, 2011

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110608/wl_nm/us_libya

By Khaled al-Ramahi Wed Jun 8, 6:20 pm ET

MISRATA (Reuters) – Western and Arab nations meet in Abu Dhabi on Thursday to focus on what one U.S. official called the “end-game” for Libya‘s Muammar Gaddafi as NATO once again stepped up the intensity of its air raids on Tripoli.

NATO air strikes resumed in Tripoli on Wednesday night after a lull that followed the heaviest day of bombings since March. Thousands of Gaddafi troops advanced on Misrata on Wednesday, shelling it from three sides and killing at least 12 rebels.

Ministers from the so-called Libya contact group, including the United States, France and Britain, as well as Arab allies Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan, agreed in May to set up a fund to help the rebels in the civil war.

They are expected to firm up this commitment in the United Arab Emirates capital and press the rebels to give a detailed plan on how they would run the country if Gaddafi stood down as leader of the oil producing North African desert state.

“The international community is beginning to talk about what could constitute end-game to this,” one senior U.S. official told reporters aboard U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s plane which landed in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night.

“That would obviously include some kind of ceasefire arrangement and some kind of political process … and of course the question of Gaddafi and perhaps his family is also a key part of that,” the U.S. official said.

Both Libya’s rebel Transitional National Council (TNC) and its Western allies have rejected Libyan government ceasefire offers that do not include Gaddafi’s departure, saying he and his family must relinquish power before any talks can begin.

The U.S. official said there have been general discussions about what might happen to Gaddafi but nothing specific on “where he should go, or whether he should remain in Libya for that matter.”

U.S. officials on Wednesday announced delivery of the TNC’s first U.S. oil sale, part of a broader strategy they hope will get money flowing to the cash starved group.

U.S. oil refiner Tesoro announced in May it had purchased the 1.2 million barrel cargo, which U.S. officials said was due to arrive in Hawaii on Wednesday aboard a tanker chartered by Swiss oil trader Vitol.

“PRESSURE WILL INCREASE”

British Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt, who will be at the Abu Dhabi talks, said the group would be briefed by the International Stabilisation Response Team which is helping the rebel council plan for post-conflict rebuilding.

“The contact group will also reiterate the unequivocal message … that Gaddafi, his family and his regime have lost all legitimacy and must go so that the Libyan people can determine their own future,” Burt said.

“Until Gaddafi does so, the pressure will increase across the board: economically, politically and militarily.”

NATO defense ministers met in Brussels on Wednesday, but there were few signs of willingness to intensify their Libya mission, which after four months has failed to oust Gaddafi.

The alliance says the bombing aims to protect civilians from the Libyan leader’s military, which crushed popular protests against his rule in February, leaving many dead. The conflict has now become a civil war.

Gaddafi says the rebels are a minority of Islamist militants and the NATO campaign is an attempt to grab Libya’s oil.

On the battlefront, forces loyal to Gaddafi were staging a big push on Misrata. “He has sent thousands of troops from all sides and they are trying to enter the city. They are still outside, though, ” rebel spokesman Hassan al-Misrati told Reuters from inside the besieged town.

Another rebel spokesman in Misrata, called Mohammed, told Reuters late on Wednesday they were still in control of the city despite the assault.

Spain joined other Western and Arab governments in recognizing the Benghazi-based council as the sole representative of the Libyan people.

Gaddafi troops and the rebels have been deadlocked for weeks, with neither side able to hold territory on a road between Ajdabiyah in the east, which Gaddafi forces shelled on Monday, and the Gaddafi-held oil town of Brega further west.

Rebels control the east of Libya, the western city of Misrata and the range of western mountains near the border with Tunisia. They have been unable to advance on the capital against Gaddafi’s better-equipped forces.

Fighting turns southern Yemen town into “hell”

Ali Abdullah Saleh

Ali Abdullah Saleh

By Mohammed Mukhashaf and Asma Alsharif Wed Jun 8, 1:42 pm ET

ADEN/JEDDAH (Reuters) – Bodies lay in the streets of a southern Yemeni town Wednesday as government forces battled Islamist militants, a local official said, underscoring the gravity of Yemen’s multiple conflicts.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh, 69, wounded Friday when rockets hit his palace, is having treatment in the Saudi capital Riyadh but there were conflicting reports about his condition — ranging from fairly minor, to life-threatening 40-percent burns.

A truce between his forces and tribesmen who back pro-democracy protesters was holding in Sanaa. Western and Arab powers have been working to persuade Saleh to stay away and allow a long-negotiated transition of power to begin.

Saleh has left a country in crisis, with Yemeni civilians bearing the brunt of fighting. Medical staff are having trouble reaching the wounded, and electricity and water are scarce, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said.

Some 20 bodies have been retrieved in and around Sanaa since Saturday by ICRC and Yemen Red Crescent teams, including seven Tuesday in al-Hassaba, north of the capital, the ICRC said.

“Because of the fighting, it has often been difficult for medical personnel to reach certain parts of Sanaa,” said Jean-Nicolas Marti, the head of the ICRC delegation in Yemen.

The U.N.’s World Food Program (WFP) said Yemenis are going hungry as the fighting disrupts food supplies and pushes up the price of gas, water, fuel and other basic commodities.

“There is a sharp deterioration of the food security situation in Yemen,” WFP’s representative in Yemen Gian Carlo Cirri told Reuters in an interview. “We are close to food prices having doubled on average since last year when it comes to key commodities such as wheat flour, vegetable oil and sugar.”

Sanaa was calm in Saleh’s absence, with a ceasefire holding between government forces and tribesmen loyal to Sheikh Sadeq al-Ahmar, head of the powerful Hashed tribal confederation, who have turned against the president.

More than 200 people have been killed and thousands have fled Sanaa in the last two weeks as fighting intensified.

Al-Ahmar’s men withdrew from around seven government buildings, including the state news agency Saba which suffered heavily in fighting last week.

But many government ministries were not functioning as staff stayed away Wednesday and much of the city was suffering from cuts in electricity, fuel and water supplies.

GUNFIRE AND BLOOD

Officials and residents described dire scenes in the southern Abyan province where the army and Islamist militants have fought for days, causing thousands of residents to flee.

“There is a cat-and-mouse game going on in the streets now between the army and armed men. I can’t tell who’s who among them any more,” said resident Khaled Abboud by telephone. “There is a smell of gunfire and blood in the air. I only stayed to protect my home, but now I want to get out of this hell.”

The fighting has reduced Zinjibar, once home to more than 50,000 people, to a ghost town without power or running water.

Health official Alhadar Alsaidi said disease was spreading from dead bodies on the streets and wild dogs eating them. “I call on local and international health organizations to help us removing bodies from the streets and burying them,” he said.

The Yemeni army said this week it had killed 30 militants in Zinjibar, where a local official said 15 soldiers had also died in battles for the town seized by gunmen nearly two weeks ago.

Some of Saleh’s opponents have accused the president of deliberately letting al Qaeda militants take over Zinjibar to demonstrate the security risks if he were to lose power.

The volatile situation in Yemen, which lies on oil shipping lanes, alarms Western nations and neighboring oil giant Saudi Arabia, who fear that chaos would give al Qaeda free rein there.

They see Saleh’s absence as an opportunity to secure his exit after nearly 33 years ruling the poorest Arab state.

The United States and Britain have called for a peaceful, orderly transition in Yemen, based on a Gulf-brokered plan.

There was no clear word on Saleh’s health.

“I visited him yesterday evening and he was good. He talked to us and asked about the Yemeni expatriates and he is better than the others who were injured. He is very good and talks. He was sitting on a chair,” said Taha al-Hemyari, head of Yemeni community affairs at the Yemeni embassy in Riyadh.

A Saudi doctor familiar with Saleh’s case also said his burns were not as serious as some officials suggested, saying he may be able to leave Saudi Arabia in less than two weeks.

SEVERE BURNS?

The Yemeni embassy in Washington said in a statement Saleh’s health was improving and reiterated that his deputy Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi was in charge in a caretaker capacity.

“President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s health condition is stable and continues to improve… President Saleh will return to Yemen … to reassume his duties soon after he recovers,” it said.

Yemeni and U.S. officials said Tuesday that Saleh was in a more serious condition with burns over roughly 40 percent of his body. Saudi newspaper al-Watan cited a Yemeni diplomat on Wednesday as saying another operation on Saleh was possible.

Saleh was initially said to have been hit by shrapnel and Hadi said Monday the president would return within days.

Forty percent burns would mean Saleh’s life could be in danger: “Somebody of that age, with that percentage of burns, has got a pretty poor prognosis, especially if these are full thickness burns,” Brendan Eley, chief executive of the Healing Foundation at Britain’s Royal College of Surgeons.

Saudi officials say it is up to Saleh whether he returns home but they, and their Western allies, may want to revive a Gulf-brokered transition deal under which the Yemeni leader would quit in return for immunity from prosecution.

Yemen said a donation of three million barrels of crude oil from Saudi King Abdullah had arrived in Aden Wednesday.

Thousands of protesters, who have been in the streets since February demanding Saleh quit, gathered at his vice president’s residence Tuesday. They want him formally to assume power in order to effect Saleh’s final removal from office.

Troops loyal to army general Ali Mohsen, who has sided with the protesters, shot into the air in an effort to persuade them to leave, but the activists stayed put.

War looms as UPA, Anna harden positions

Posted by Admin on June 9, 2011

http://in.news.yahoo.com/blogs/boxpopuli/war-looms-upa-anna-harden-positions-073523746.html

By Ramakrishna S R | Box Populi – Wed, Jun 8, 2011

Everyone knows Anna Hazare has been demanding a stringent law against corruption, but his day-long fast at Raghat today is not for that cause. He is actually protesting the government’s violent midnight raid that scuttled Baba Ramdev‘s hunger strike last week-end.

The action at Delhi‘s Ramlila Grounds, where Ramdev was holding a fast against black money, has left 71 injured. With no place to go in the middle of the night, some found shelter in a gurudwara. The government’s high-handedness has triggered criticism from across the political spectrum. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has defended the swoop, saying it was unfortunate but unavoidable. The National Human Rights Commission isn’t impressed, and has called for reports from the central and Delhi governments.

Last night, Times Now showed a 51-year woman in hospital, paralysed after being thrashed at Ramdev’s pandal. Raj Bala is a citizen like any other, but concerned enough to take part in a movement against black money. She now lies in a hospital ICU on ventilator support. Doctors describe her condition as critical.

The government isn’t winning any hearts by terrorising peaceful demonstrators. Even the Supreme Court was shocked by the midnight raid. It has taken suo moto notice, and ordered the government to explain the forceful eviction. People across the country are asking the same question: Why did the police assault a group of women and children deep in slumber? The police, meanwhile, have seized CCTV footage of their action from Ramlila Grounds. Why, you ask? Ramdev believes they are trying to destroy evidence of their atrocities.

Two more developments add to the repression the UPA government is unleashing: (a) it is busy digging up dirt on Ramdev’s close aide Balakrishna; and (b) prominent Congress leaders are tarring Anna Hazare with the communalism brush, describing him as a mask of the RSS and Sangh Parivar. If Balakrishna were a Nepali citizen who possessed illegal arms, as the government is now letting it be known, why didn’t the police act all these years? And if Anna Hazare were a mask for hateful rightist groups, why are the government’s senior-most leaders sitting down with him and discussing a new law?

Given the predominance of the tri-colour at Anna Hazare’s meetings and saffron at Ramdev’s meetings, many had assumed they were aligned to the Congress and the BJP respectively, but the equations aren’t turning out that simple. Anna Hazare is a Gandhian and Ramdev a yoga guru and TV celebrity. Despite their dissimilar moorings, they feel they are fighting the same battle, and have affirmed faith in each other.

That makes life that much more difficult for the Congress. It will now have to take on the combined forces of Anna Hazare and Ramdev.  It looks like the Congress is already panicking. It has already let Digvijay Singh loose on Ramdev, letting him call the baba names, and tried to stop Anna Hazare from demonstrating today at Jantar Mantar. With a flip-flop Congress turning vengeful and going after anti-corruption activists, Anna Hazare and Ramdev are bound to close ranks and prepare for a bigger battle.

Ramdev is continuing his fast in Haridwar, and has asked his followers to stop their hunger strike for the time being. The Delhi police had transported him to the pilgrim town after evicting him from Ramlila Grounds. They have also barred him from entering Delhi for 15 days. All of which suggests the action will hot up in the last week of June, whe Ramdev resumes his campaign in the capital. The civil society group led by Anna Hazare is bound to come up with a more aggressive plan of action if the government continues to treat them shabbily.

Meanwhile, the US, which has spoken out against Tiananmen Square and Tahrir Square, clearly sees India as capable of handing its protests in a democratic manner. It has described the government action against Ramdev an internal Indian matter.

Syrian troops move on restive town, West alarmed

AMMAN (Reuters) – Syrian troops with tanks moved on Tuesday toward a town where the government has vowed to quell a revolt after accusing gunmen of killing scores of security men.

Though accounts of days of bloodshed in Jisr al-Shughour ranged from an official version of gunmen ambushing troops to residents’ reports of an army mutiny, the risk seemed to be growing of even greater violence than that which has left over 1,100 Syrians dead since popular unrest began three months ago.

France took a lead in proposing U.N. moves against President Bashar al-Assad. But Russia, citing NATO’s inconclusive war on Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, said it would veto intervention against Syria in the United Nations Security Council.

Despite enthusiasm for pro-democracy movements that have unseated dictators in Tunisia and Egypt, few Western leaders — let alone their autocratic Arab partners — have shown a will to intervene in Syria, an Iranian ally whose volatile mix of ethnic and religious groups sits astride a web of regional conflicts.

Assad’s family and supporters from the minority Alawite sect have dominated Syria since his late father seized power 41 years ago. He has responded with promises of reform, and a security crackdown on protesters in towns across the country.

The government has expelled independent journalists, making it hard to determine clearly what is happening in the country.

DIPLOMATIC MOVES

Tuesday, local residents said a column of armoured vehicles and troops, apparently heading for Jisr al-Shughour, had reached the town of Ariha, 25 km (16 miles) to the east, a day after Information Minister Adnan Mahmoud said army units would carry out their “national duty to restore security.”

Western powers have raised the alarm. British Foreign Secretary William Hague told parliament: “President Assad is losing legitimacy and should reform or step aside.” He said European governments were looking at further sanctions.

For France, Britain’s ally in the air war against Gaddafi and the former colonial power in Syria, Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said Paris was ready to ask the U.N. Security Council to condemn Syria: “The process of reform is dead and we think that Bashar has lost his legitimacy to rule the country.

“We’ll see what the Russians will do. If they veto, they will take their responsibility. Maybe if they see that there are 11 votes in favor of the resolution, they will change their mind. So there is a risk to take and we’re ready to take it.”

The United States has also said Assad should reform or go.

But in Brussels, Russia’s envoy to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, said: “The prospect of a U.N. Security Council resolution that’s along the same lines as Resolution 1973 on Libya will not be supported by my country … The use of force, as Libya shows, does not provide answers.”

Veto-holding Russia abstained on the Libya vote, allowing NATO to begin a bombing campaign that Western powers say saved civilians in rebel-held Benghazi from an onslaught by Gaddafi’s forces, but which has failed to dislodge the Libyan leader.

Just what has happened in Jisr al-Shughour, which lies in the northeast close to the Turkish border, remains unclear.

Official accounts say gunmen roaming the town and setting fire to government buildings had inflicted an extremely high death toll of over 120 on security men, said to have been killed in an ambush and attacks on a post office and a security post.

State television aired footage of at least five dead soldiers and police who it said were victims of an “ambush by armed gangs.” Voices are heard in the video cursing the dead men and describing how they were killed.

“I stabbed them, I stabbed the three of them,” said a man who was not seen on camera.

But residents and anti-government activists disputed the government account, saying the casualties followed a mutiny among forces sent to quell civilian protests. Assad loyalists and mutineers then fought each other around the town, they said.

Other footage posted on You Tube showed bodies of at least three soldiers and voices off camera say they were killed by fellow-security force members for refusing to fire on civilians.

PAST VIOLENCE

Fears of a sharp increase in the level of violence are informed by memories of 1982, when the forces of Assad’s father, Hafez al-Assad, crushed an armed Islamist revolt in the city of Hama, killing many thousands and razing the town’s old center.

Jisr al-Shughour residents said violence began when scores of civilians were killed in a crackdown on the hill town on a road between Syria’s second city Aleppo and the port of Latakia.

They said security men had raided homes and made scores of arbitrary arrests after the largest pro-democracy protest yet held in the town, Friday. At least five people were killed.

The killings enraged the townsfolk and prompted defections from security police and troops belonging, like most people in Jisr al-Shugour, to Syria’s Sunni Muslim majority, they said. Assad and many of his army and security commanders are Alawites.

Neighboring countries, including Israel and Turkey, worry about any chaos that could set off sectarian conflict and the emergence of violent, radical Islamists, as happened in nearby Iraq after the U.S. invasion of 2003.

“Military intelligence agents and security police stormed the town Monday. Snipers began firing at people who dared go out in the streets. Bodies lay in the streets. Around 100 police and soldiers defected and stood with us,” one resident said by phone, adding that six military intelligence agents were killed.

He said pro-Assad Alawite gunmen from neighboring villages, known as ‘shabbiha’, had been seen around Jisr al-Shughour.

Many analysts with close contacts on the ground inside Syria were reluctant to be identified when interviewed. One analyst based in Damascus said violence by security forces, who are also detaining and torturing people, was creating a violent backlash.

“Growing numbers of protesters have been pushed to take up arms, which are also being smuggled into the country at an alarming pace,” said the analyst, who works for an international organization.

The Syrian human rights organization Sawasiah said the 120 people killed were mostly civilians, or troops apparently shot dead by security agents who refused to join in the crackdown.

“The authorities are repeating their pattern of killings. They choose the town or city where demonstrations have been most vibrant and punish the population,” a Sawasiah spokesman said.

ARMY MUTINY?

Wissam Tarif, director of human rights organization Insan, said the fighting pitted rival army units against each other.

“An army unit or division arrived in the area in the morning. It seems then another unit arrived to contain the mutiny,” Tarif told Reuters. He said he had spoken to several people in Jisr al-Shughour who confirmed that account.

A Western diplomat in the region said he took the mutiny reports seriously, although he had no first-hand knowledge of events in Jisr al-Shughour. “It is plausible that the violent response to the protesters is causing widening cracks on sectarian lines within the army,” he said.

Rights groups say security forces, troops and gunmen loyal to Assad have killed 1,100 civilians since protests erupted in the southern city of Deraa on March 18. Unrest later spread to the Mediterranean coast and eastern Kurdish regions.

Assad has made some reformist gestures, such as issuing a general amnesty to political prisoners and launching a national dialogue, but protesters and opposition figures have dismissed such measures, saying thousands of political prisoners remain in jail and there can be no dialogue while repression continues.

Another resident, a history teacher who gave his name as Ahmed, said clashes had begun Saturday when snipers on the roof of the post office fired at a funeral for six protesters killed the day before. Mourners then set the post office ablaze.

State television said eight members of the security forces were killed when gunmen attacked the post office building.

It said at least 20 more were killed in an ambush by “armed gangs,” and 82 in an attack on a security post. It said the overall death toll for security forces topped 120.

WHO: Time running out to solve E. coli outbreak

by MARIA CHENG, Associated Press 32 mins ago

LONDON – An expert at the World Health Organization says time is running out for German investigators to find the source of the world’s deadliest E. coli outbreak, which has spread fear across Europe and cost farmers millions in exports.

German officials are still seeking the cause of the outbreak weeks after it began May 2. They wrongly accused Spanish cucumbers of being the culprit last week but had to retract when the cucumbers had a different strain of E. coli. On Sunday, they blamed German sprouts, only to backtrack a day later when initial tests were negative. The sprouts are still being tested.

So far, the outbreak has killed 24 people, infected over 2,400 and left hundreds hospitalized with a serious complication that can lead to kidney failure.

“If we don’t know the likely culprit in a week’s time, we may never know the cause,” Dr. Guenael Rodier, the director of communicable diseases at WHO, told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday.

He said the contaminated vegetables have likely disappeared from the market and it would be difficult for German investigators to link patients to contaminated produce weeks after they first became infected.

“Right now, (Germans) are interviewing patients about foods they ate one to two weeks ago,” he said. “It’s very hard to know how accurate that information is.”

Without more details about what exact foods link sick patients, Rodier said it would be very difficult to narrow down the cause.

“The final proof will come from the lab,” he said. “But first you need the epidemiological link to the suspected food.”

Other experts issued harsher criticism of the German investigation.

“If you gave us 200 cases and 5 days, we should be able to solve this outbreak,” said Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, whose team has contained numerous food-borne outbreaks in the United States.

Osterholm described the German effort as “erratic” and “a disaster” and said officials should have done more detailed patient interviews as soon as the epidemic began.

The medical director of Berlin’s Charite Hospitals, Ulrich Frei, said it took the national disease control center weeks to send his hospital questionnaires for E. coli patients to fill out about their eating habits.

Osterholm said the Germans should have been able to trace cases of illness to infected produce by now and that tests on current produce won’t be helpful.

“It’s like looking at camera footage of a traffic intersection today to see what caused an accident three weeks ago,” he said.

“This is an outbreak response that is not being led by the data,” he added. “Solving an outbreak like this is difficult, but it’s not an impossible task.”

On Tuesday, the EU health chief warned Germany against issuing any more premature — and inaccurate — conclusions about the source of contaminated food. The comments by EU health chief John Dalli came only a day after he had defended the German investigators, saying they were under extreme pressure.

Dalli told the EU parliament in Strasbourg that information must be scientifically sound and foolproof before it becomes public.

“It is crucial that national authorities do not rush to give information on the source of infection that is not proven by bacteriological analysis, as this spreads unjustified fears (among) the population all over Europe and creates problems for our food producers,” Dalli said.

In outbreaks, it is not unusual for certain foods to be suspected at first, then ruled out. In 2008 in the U.S., raw tomatoes were initially implicated in a nationwide salmonella outbreak. Consumers shunned tomatoes, costing the tomato industry millions. Weeks later, jalapeno peppers grown in Mexico were found to be the cause.

In the current E. coli outbreak, tests are continuing on sprouts from an organic farm in northern Germany, but have so far come back negative. Rodier said that doesn’t necessarily exonerate the vegetables.

“Just because tests are negative doesn’t mean you can rule them out,” he said. “The bacteria could have been in just one batch of contaminated food and by the time you collect specimens from the samples that are left, it could be gone.”

He said food-borne outbreaks are difficult to investigate because they involve multiple industries, government departments and in Germany’s case, several layers of bureaucracy to report numbers.

In Luxembourg, a heated battle erupted Tuesday over compensation payments to European farmers blindsided by plunging demand during the deadly E. coli outbreak, with Spain and France scoffing at the amount proposed by the EU farm chief.

Farm Commissioner Dacian Ciolos suggested the European Union give farmers euro150 million ($219 million) in compensation — about 30 percent of the value of vegetables that cannot be sold.

But Spain and France, traditional vegetable producers, insisted that is not even close to enough, aiming for aid to farmers between 90 percent and 100 percent of the market price for their produce.

The losses to EU farmers have been staggering — in the neighborhood of euro417 million ($611 million) a week.

Germany’s national disease control center, the Robert Koch Institute, on Tuesday raised the number deaths to 24 — 23 in Germany and one in Sweden — and the number of infections in Germany to 2,325. The number of victims with a rare complication that may lead to kidney failure rose by 12 to 642.

Ten other European countries and the United States have another 100 cases.

The institute said the number of new cases had declined — a sign the epidemic might have reached its peak — but added it was not certain whether that decrease will continue.

In a major difference from other E. coli outbreaks, the crisis is mostly affecting women. Most of the victims in Germany are women between 20 and 50 years old, highly educated and very fit, investigators said.

“What do they have in common? They are thin, clean pictures of health,” said Friedrich Hagenmueller of the Asklepios Hospital in Hamburg, Germany.

Australia’s military loses its UFO X-Files: report

CANBERRA (Reuters Life!) – Australia‘s military has lost its X-Files, detailing sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs, across the country, a newspaper report said Tuesday.

After a two-month search in response to a newspaper Freedom of Information (FOI) request, which forces government officials to release documents of public interest, Australia’s Department of Defense had been unable to locate the files, the Sydney Morning Herald said.

“The files could not be located and Headquarters Air Command formally advised that this file is deemed lost,” the department’s FOI assistant director, Natalie Carpenter, told the paper. Defense officials could not be contacted by Reuters.

The only file Defense had been able to locate was a folder called: “Report on UFOs/Strange Occurrences and Phenomena in Woomera,” a military weapons testing range in the center of Australia’s vast outback, Carpenter said.

All other files had been lost or destroyed, which the Herald said could fuel conspiracy theories about their disappearance.

The single remaining file detailed a sketchy series of sightings from around the country and overseas, including people living in towns near Woomera, in South Australia state.

X Files, named after a popular U.S. television science fiction program, refer to supposed government records detailing paranormal mysteries, usually involving fictitious alien species.

Australia’s military had decided to stop taking UFO sighting reports in late 2000, the Herald said, asking members of the public to report incidents to police instead.
