A Life-Changing Decision

“Make spiritual growth your number one priority.” These words, buried in the middle of a paragraph of text on a flyer advertising a variety of classes, literally seemed to light up and take on a glow.

Yes, they were glowing and just as the church bells of old were used to gather people together, the words “Make Spiritual Growth Your Number One Priority” began to clang in my head and call to me, pulling me toward them. Living words. Powerful words that I could feel in my heart and, as I embraced them and they moved into my consciousness, I responded with a joyful, “Yes, of course!”

And in that moment, those words became a decision. And life changed. Like the turning of a kaleidoscope, a new pattern emerged.

What happens when you make this decision to make your spiritual growth your number one priority?

Everything falls into place. Prioritizing everything else becomes easy. Organizing your day becomes simple. Decisions about money are made with grace. In short, your life becomes balanced.

Magic happens

There is something magical that happens at the “decision point.” The decision point itself has a power. Once you make the decision, at that point, it becomes easy to follow through with your action, without you “doing” a whole lot to make it happen.

With this new decision, I was able to create sacred space in my day. Upon awakening in the morning, before even getting out of bed, I connected with Spirit, realizing our Oneness. At the beginning of work, I would take a moment to remember that connection again, spending a few minutes to calm the frantic pace of the external world and just breathe, realizing, “I live and breathe and have my being in God. God lives and breathes through my being. I am One with the Universe.” In the evening, contemplation, study, and quiet time became a food that was as necessary as eating.

New opportunities emerge

New opportunities for growth appeared. Classes and books “found me” without me even searching. Different people came into my life. Decisions about whether to spend the money for spiritual classes, courses and seminars were no longer an issue or even a consideration. I wanted this!

Shortly after spiritual growth became so important to me, I realized how conditioned we are to NOT grow spiritually. We are locked into a system that demands we spend the majority of our time getting ready to go to work, getting to work, working, and coming home from work, basically to pay for a house and car. By the time you fix food, do the dishes and some laundry, and take a shower, how much time is left for your spiritual growth? It is as if we are deliberately being misdirected. Our focus is all “out there.”

To summarize the point, in the short-term, what happens when you make your spiritual growth your number one priority is this: Time management and money management decisions fall into place; new opportunities for growth come your way.

What happens in the long-term? Wow! Where do I start? In the long-term, farther down the road, you will reap the rewards of actual spiritual growth. It is as if you become a different person. Your inner reality becomes the center of your being. And you never stop growing; consciousness is ever-unfolding. All because of one life-changing decision…

Make spiritual growth YOUR number one priority.

Did You Volunteer?

Back in the 1990s, it seemed as if every New Age teacher’s secret to the Universe was based on one statement: Remember who you are.

So, the scenario would go something like this: The teacher would stand at the front of the auditorium and give these great words of profound wisdom, “Remember who you are.”

The rest of us in the audience would think, “Okay, I am a spark of the Divine,” or they would think, “I am an aspect of God,” or something similar. And then we would all just sit and stare at each other… each of us thinking, “Okay, got that… now what?”

We would just look rather blankly around the room, each of us wondering… “What comes next?”

Clearly, we “got it” at the intellectual level, but alas, we did not “get it” from the heart level. It is from the heart that wisdom opens wide the doors of understanding. This understanding does not come from words, or the mind, but from the Silence, the Stillness.

During this time in the 1990s there was much talk about how Lightworkers volunteered to come to Earth for this mission. I remember adamantly refusing to believe I volunteered to come here. I jokingly insisted that everyone else stepped back and left the naive ones, myself included, standing in the front, looking as if we had volunteered.

It was almost ten years later before I had an epiphany. I was sitting outside on a beautiful spring morning having my quiet time. For the previous six months I had been “seeding my consciousness” with the word, “connection.” In other words, I would almost unconsciously think about this word for a few minutes at the beginning of my quiet time and then pretty much forget about it.

When you do this over a period of time, revelations begin to come to you concerning the topic or word being “seeded.” Thus it was, on that beautiful morning, that I had my epiphany. I felt, quite surprisingly, totally and absolutely connected to the Earth and everything I could perceive in my surroundings – the little lizards, the tropical birds, the grass, the very Earth herself. It was the realization, the feeling, of the One expressing as All That Is.

And in that moment, Love, such Love poured through me, filling me and expressing itself as an amazing Love for humanity. It was then that I realized, of course I volunteered. How could I not? This Love that is so beyond our human concept of love opened like a bright sun in my heart and blew away all dark shadows. Of course we volunteered… because that Love is who we were… and that feeling was remembering who we are.

Now it is time to remember our mission.

We are here to help humanity during this time of great transition. The very Cosmos itself is working to aid our evolution into truth. Now is the time that we are called to action.

Just as in the birthing process, there is a time to push, a time to give every ounce of energy and effort to bring forth new life, and so it is for us, the Lightworkers, at this time. The spiritual gateway is open. Let us pass through it with every fiber of our spirit vibrating with the joy of that which is about to emerge upon Planet Earth.

Let us go through the vital cosmic gateway on December 21, 2012 with our heads held high and our hearts perfectly aligned with everything for which we stand.

We are Lightworkers. We have awaited this time. This is our cosmic moment.

Join us at this crucial time on our 2012 Transformation experience. Let nothing stop you from tuning in with the ascended masters who will guide you into the next level of spiritual consciousness. Your mission is calling…

Join Your Ship

2012 is the division of the ways. It will become ever more obvious that you must choose one of two predominant realities after the cosmic cycles end and new cycles begin on December 21st, 2012. Here are your options for the two realities.

Reality 1: Hang on to Old Reality consciousness and become immersed in its crumbling facade and deepening devastation. This reality will be filled with mounting evidence that the old ways of seeing the world are no longer functional.

Reality 2: Align yourself with the uplifting grace of New Reality consciousness and its inherent sense of the new, the hopeful and the inspired. Align yourself with its enormous potential to build a new and better world.

These two realities are like two ships waiting to leave port. Both ships have raised steam; their propulsion turbines are at rest, yet poised with potential and ready to push the massive ships forward.

For now, you are still able to move from one ship to the other, making your choice while they remain in port, but time is running short. The two ships, Reality 1 and Reality 2, are about to leave port and go their separate ways.

The reality that you subscribe to – the one to which you give the most energy – is the one that you will see manifest more and more in your perception of the world.

When storms pass by, they affect all ships. As world crises pass by, they affect all people. The difference is that those in the New Reality community will sense the emerging love and the new hope for a better world that emerges with each crisis, while those who subscribe to the Old Reality consciousness will fall deeper into a fear-filled view of reality.

Here are the rules of Reality 1: Watch the television, especially the news. Be afraid, very afraid. Do what you are told.

Here are the rules of Reality 2: Notice the ever-increasing frequency of consciousness that fills the air. Notice how each day makes it easier to access the unconditional love of heart-centered consciousness. Notice how you can join with others of like mind and work for a better reality, a future filled with community and support, while helping each other to realize more spiritual unfoldment.

For a time, the people of Reality 1 and Reality 2 will keep sharing the same world. The difference is the lens through which they will perceive reality.

The lens that looks at a material world sees one reality, while the lens that looks through the heart sees a totally different picture, even though they are looking at the same world. The lens that you choose determines how you experience your reality.

The time has come to make a firm decision to join the good ship, “Reality 2,” with its New Reality consciousness, and to see the world through a lens that encourages your purpose in life.

It is a time to expand your awareness through an increased focus on spiritual consciousness, through the study and practice of the universal laws, and through reaching out to others who can be helped in turbulent times that are filled with both great change and great opportunity.

It is time to make that crucial decision, to join your ship and set your course directly into the dawn of the emerging New Reality.

The single most powerful opportunity for spiritual advancement in 26,000 years is coming and it is just a month away!

In order to best prepare for the 2012 cosmic gateway which occurs on December 21st, we are running a 2012 Transformation course, starting on December 1st.

Prepare now to pass through the 2012 gateway in the best possible way. Join the many souls of like mind on this course who will be learning about the emerging new standard in spiritual growth. Tune in with the ascended masters who will be assisting us during this course to reach the new level of spiritual consciousness.

Where does Bangalore’s power come from?

Posted by Admin on November 12, 2012

http://bangalore.citizenmatters.in/articles/view/4648-bescoms-power-sources

Bangalore had been reeling under a power shortage until recently. The city alone consumes about a third of the state’s total power. What are Bangalore’s power sources?

By Navya P K
06 Nov 2012, Citizen Matters

For over a month, there have been reports about power shortage in the city. Early October, BESCOM had contemplated power cuts for industries, but later changed the plan when rains started.

Currently, the city has shortage of around 100 MW daily, which is only less than 5% of its total requirement, says P Manivannan, MD of BESCOM [1]. The shortage for entire BESCOM area is upto 600 MW. Manivannan says, “The shortage cannot be quantified, but varies from 0-600 MW through the day depending on wind and other sources. We are able to handle it, and are not contemplating any load shedding for the city.”

Bangalore’s daily power demand is about 2300 MW (Mega Watt). That is, 2300 MW of power is transmitted throughout the day to the city on average (there are sharp differences in peak and non-peak hour consumption though). Bangalore consumes about one-third of the state’s total power. Karnataka‘s average demand is 6000 MW per day.

Pic: wikimediacommons

Overall, Bangalore consumes 42 Million Units (MU) energy per day, as opposed to state’s 140 MU. The transmission of 2300 MW through the day, leads to consumption of 42 MU of energy.

What are our power sources?

Bangalore is powered by the same grid that supplies to the entire state – there are no specific sources for Bangalore alone. The sources include hydel, thermal and non-conventional sources like wind and sun. The state also gets power from Central Generating Stations (CGS) like Neyveli Lignite Corporation, Kaiga Atomic Power Station in North Karnataka etc. Together, the sources have the maximum capacity to produce 12,000 MW of power, but actual generation is about 6000 MW and the extent of generation from each source varies through the day. Major sources are the state’s own hydel and thermal power stations.

Hydel power:

The state has over 15 hydel power stations – Shivanasamudra, Sharavathy and Bhadra are some of them. Though hydel power is a major part of state’s power, BESCOM gets only a small share of it. The amount of hydel power allocation is fixed for ESCOMs (Electricity Supply Companies).

BESCOM gets 12% of state’s hydel power for its entire area which also includes Tumkur, Chitradurga, Davanagere etc (not just Bangalore). Because of this low dependency on hydel power, poor monsoon rains do not hinder power supply to Bangalore as much.

Thermal power:

Thermal power comes from coal, gas and diesel stations. Raichur and Bellary Thermal Power Stations (RTPS and BTPS), and Yelahanka Diesel Generating Station (YDGS) are the state’s major thermal stations. Unlike hydel power, thermal power is stable as long as there is no shortage of coal/diesel.

Central Generating Stations (CGS):

CGS are thermal/nuclear stations. The stations are maintained by central government, and each state gets a specified share of the power generated. The state in which the station is located, will get majority of the power while neighbouring states will get a smaller share. Karnataka gets about 1000 MW from CGS, on average.

Non Conventional Energy Projects (NCEPs):

This power is produced not by government agencies, but by Independent Power Producers (IPPs). NCE sources mainly are wind, sun, biomass etc. Wind generation is a major part of NCEPs, but depends on wind availability. While IPPs like Tata BP Solar exclusively generates solar power, much of NCE is generated in factories as by-product.

For instance, in sugar and steel factories, while production process goes on, power can be generated simultaneously. The factories use part of this power for themselves, and sell the excess to the state. Udupi Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL), a major IPP, produces power from imported coal.

How power reaches Bangalore

Three agencies are involved in the procurement, transmission and supply of power, before it reaches consumers. Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) is the state agency that gets power from different generating stations. KPCL also buys power from other states when required.

Another agency, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) is in charge of transmitting power to different ESCOMs, including BESCOM. Once it gets the power from KPTCL, BESCOM’s local network supplies it to consumers.

All of this is co-ordinated by KPTCL’s State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC). ESCOMs inform SLDC about their power requirement forecast for the next day, 24 hours earlier. Similarly, KPCL informs SLDC of its generation forecast, a day before. Depending on this, the total power is distributed among each ESCOM for the next day. Demand and supply varies through the day, and SLDC maintains real-time data on this.

Spiritual Trendsetters

Posted by Admin on November 12, 2012

by Owen K Waters

It is time for the world to stop being fearful. Fear breeds fear. Love breeds love. One cancels the other. Which will you choose – love or fear?

If you decide to create more love in your life, the approach is simple. Spiritual awareness enhances the natural flow of the universal consciousness called love. By developing your inner spiritual connection, you attract and transmit more pure, unconditional love and all things will be added to you because of this.

Your relationships will grow deeper and more harmonious. You will appreciate yourself more, simply for being the child of God that you are. You’ll prosper in your professional dealings as you become more creative and, therefore, more competent and more valuable to the people to whom you provide a service.

It’s simply a choice. To develop love, start by ignoring the fears that face the rest of the world. Don’t let those issues of fear bring you down. That’s what they’re designed to do. If you let them bring you down, they will disempower you.

Instead, focus on what will make a difference within yourself. Your domain – the realm under your control – is within you. You can change that which is within yourself. Other people are outside of your domain, so change that which you can – that which is within yourself. Then, paradoxically, you will also effect positive change in the world because you are part of the global mind consciousness.

Just as there is an atmospheric belt around the world, there is also a mind belt around the world. This mind belt is constantly fed by the thoughts and emotions of every human upon the planet. People are like radio transmitters and receivers, only the energy is mind energy, not radio waves. You constantly receive mind energy from the collective mind belt, process it through your own consciousness and transmit it back into the mind belt.

Mind energy consists of thoughts and feelings. It is a definite energy, even though it is much more subtle than physical energies like light or electricity. Mind energy is conditioned and directed by human will.

You can be affected by the collective mind belt or you can decide for yourself how you will react to life’s events. Choose now whether you will be affected by every twist and turn in the game of life, or whether you will be one of the few who create the game.

Independent thinkers are the trendsetters in the mind belt. The way you think affects every other human upon the planet. The way you feel affects every other human upon the planet.

Because higher frequencies of thought and feeling have much more power than lower frequency ones, the unconditional love that you generate through your spiritual practices has a huge influence upon humanity.

Choose the development of love through regular, dedicated spiritual practices and you will be changing the world. At the end of the day, the one thing that really counts is the amount of spiritual growth that you have achieved.

Make spiritual growth your number one priority in life.

Igniting Kannada minds

Posted by Admin on November 5, 2012

http://www.bangaloremirror.com/article/31/2012083120120831184632730b9e70a63/-Igniting-Kannada-minds–.html

Eminent scholar K V Narayana’s path-breaking initiative ‘Reading Karnataka’ seeks to radically change our traditional concepts of information and knowledge.

“We are not going anywhere,” said Prof G Venkatasubbaiah, effectively indicating that “the Kannadigas are here to stay and we will survive” irrespective of all the recent politicising of language issue.
Another crusader, Prof U R Ananthamurthy, never gets tired of pushing for “all information/knowledge to Kannadigas through Kannada”. But there is an unexpressed “also” to it, implying most of our knowledge sources are in English.
That the language issue has become a political game is common knowledge. The current topic of debate is the Nature of Knowledge. Journalist Sugata Srinivasaraju calls it an “epistemological intervention”.
Scholar and critic Dr K V Narayana thought of expanding the debate on such an issue and he started a series of workshops, a special knowledge zone, what he calls ‘Karnataka Oodu’. Some translate it as ‘Reading Karnataka’. It could also be termed Karnataka Studies. The three basic questions he poses are:
1. What should be the nature of the knowledge that we receive through Kannada?
2. Should the knowledge that we receive through Kannada be similar to the one we derivefrom English?
3. Is there a need to also import the frameworks through which we receive knowledge, that is, should we also borrow the troughs in which knowledge is contained?
“Karnataka Oodu (studies) is a result of debates we used to have among a group of friends and we decided to expand the reach and started conducting workshops at various places for the last two years,” says KVN.
“The first step we need to take in this process is to integrate the various knowledge zones that remain scattered, independent and disconnected in the language. Though we can’t erase the borders between them, we should not create walls. Through this process, as it connects history, sociology, political science, anthropology, archaeology, art history, linguistics etc., we’ll figure out the way Karnataka has been perceived and interpreted by these disciplines. As we peruse the material, we’ll realise that the various disciplines have perceived and placed the land and its culture in a global framework. That there is hardly any difference between an insider’s view and an outsider’s take because the theoretical receptacles are the same or similar. They are indistinguishable and alien. The only difference is that the insider would have written his exegesis in the Kannada language.”
‘Karnataka Study’ aims to get as many as possible to think about acquiring the capacity for thinking in Kannada and it should start from within and not be borrowed from outside. Education has resulted in getting into the habit of looking at ourselves from the outside rather than evolve a method that comes as being an insider critique.
If this has to change, we have to use frameworks that have an organic or symbiotic relationship with the knowledge that is created.
“In our enthusiasm to ensure that all knowledge is made available in Kannada, we opened our gates wide. Now, we realise that the knowledge we possess is what got transferred from elsewhere and that we haven’t created any of them ourselves. We seem to have expanded our understanding of things, but then we have lost the ability to think independently. Ram Manohar Lohia had once said that India had not produced an independent thinker since the 4th century. Shankaracharya was the last one. We have come to such a pass that if need to develop a process of thinking, we borrow it from outside; we have lost confidence that a Kannada mind can create it independently. When we borrow, we struggle to adapt to them to our circumstances and that in itself appears like a huge exercise. We should not only have a goal to create our own knowledge systems, but we should also believe that it is very much possible.”
LIKE HANUMAN’S MIND
He says that some sort of languor or fatigue has impeded the Indian mind. To think independently has taken a back seat. “It is like the state of Hanuman’s mind in Ramayana just before his leap across the ocean. He thinks he is an insignificant small ape and may not be able undertake the venture. But luckily for Hanuman, there are others around to instil confidence in him, that he is very much competent to carry out the job. But sadly, there is nobody to do that to our languages and cultures. We have simply given up.
“As we get into an exercise like this there are people who’ll accuse us of being frogs in the well. They may be correct, but while we express wonderment about the expanse of the ocean, we can’t allow our ponds and lakes to go dry. They sustain us, not the sea.” (Translated by Sugata Srinivasaraju)
Is the ‘Reading Karnataka’ a process or a product?
KVN says it is both. “It is something that I have been preoccupied since 30 years since my student days. Take for instance, the American concept of South Asia. For them, South Asia comprises Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. But from our point of view Tibet, Burma, Malaysia, Japan also belong to South Asia. However, we are conditioned by their concept. But our culture thoughts should be for our understanding and should relate to our lives in the contemporary times. The Kannada life, its problems should be understood from our point of view and we have to reclaim our intelligence. I call it the moment of realisation. Can we really reclaim our way of thinking? I think we can. We have to interact and include our younger generation into the debate and since it is not merely an intellectual exercise, but also emotional. They will definitely respond.”
KVN also talks about the scholars who address the pan-Indian or global audience “with their backs turned on Kannadigas, they should be facing the Kannadigas, if you know what I mean.” One has to talk to Kannadigas as an insider and not as an outsider.
KVN and his friends are organising workshops across the state and the response has been phenomenal. The next workshop is on September 1 and 2 at the farm house (Nisargadhama, Doddaballapur – Chikkaballapur Road, Thimmasandra,) of Kannada activist T N Prabhudev at Doddaballapur. Boarding and lodging facilities will be provided at Doddaballapur for participants. Those interested contact K Y Narayana Swamy (9739007127) and Ravikumar Bagi (9448881480).

The 2012 Gateway Trajectory

Posted by Admin on November 1, 2012

by Owen K Waters

2013 is almost here and it will bring a bright new dawn for everything related to the New Reality. Instead of being beset by multiple expiring cosmic cycles, we will become immersed in a new era where it becomes very easy to create positive new projects.

I learned from my primary guide – a senior member of the spiritual hierarchy who functions as the Lord Protector of The Shift – about a principle called the 2012 Gateway Trajectory.

This principle states that the pattern of consciousness that you have at the close of the cosmic cycles on December 21st, 2012 will influence your trajectory through experience for many thousands of years into the future.

The 2012 gateway is rather like a vortex. You enter it from one side, pass through the eye of the vortex where your pattern of consciousness is stamped or fixed within your aura, then you exit the vortex into a whole new set of multi-millennia cosmic cycles bearing that pattern.

As a spiritual seeker, you are a lightworker and therefore a leading thinker in the advancement of consciousness. You may have adopted one or more challenges to work through in this life so that you could create a pattern in the mind belt to make it easier for others to follow and heal their own lives.

You’ve borne those challenges, not so much because you need the experience, but because other people need pioneers to resolve the issues that are important today. The more the pioneers succeed in resolving their issues, the easier it becomes for the rest to follow.

The point of knowing this is so that you may resolve whatever challenges still face you before December 21st, 2012. As you head towards the 2012 gateway, it’s time to take inventory and see where you stand on matters of unfinished business.

Whatever gives you discomfort – even so much as a nagging doubt that all is not right – now is the time to address those issues. Anything that gives you a feeling of being out of harmonious alignment of mind, body and soul should be addressed and resolved.

Remember, you’re not the challenge that you are facing. You adopted it as something to master in order to make the way easier for others to follow the pattern you set in the global mind atmosphere. The average lightworker has already mastered those challenges in previous lives. They took the same challenges upon themselves in these critical days because they knew they could rise above and resolve those challenges in time to help set a pattern for others to follow and set themselves free.

If you are currently working through a major life challenge and feel as though you’re going round in circles and getting nowhere, stop and look for the gift in that challenge. The gift is that, by loving yourself and others more, you can rise above the challenge and become more of who you really are. Then, the experience changes from one of challenge to one of self-empowerment.

The solution to a challenge in the material world is typically not to be found in the material world at the level of the problem. The answer is found when you rise above that frequency and gain from the resources of the higher aspects of your mind. Fear-based challenges, for example, are always resolved by connecting with the strength and security of your inner being.

Real strength does not lie anywhere in the outside world. It lies within you. Once you find that inner power, you rise above any limitation and stand as a self-realized way-shower in a world desperate for spiritual freedom.

We can look forward to December 21st, 2012 as the gateway that marks the close of many cosmic cycles and the end of the functionality of the old ways.

The 2012 gateway is the beginning of a world full of opportunities. Positive action will come very easily when all the cycles begin anew and are running in their constructive, ascending mode.

Most of all, decide before then to make Spiritual Growth your number one priority and you will harvest an ever-increasing joy in the years ahead.

Make the 2012 gateway everything you want it to be. Make it a beautiful event opening into a wonderful future filled with joy and enlightenment!

The Nature of Archangels

Posted by Admin on November 1, 2012

by Owen K Waters

The Creator often sends additional help to us, the students of Classroom Earth, in our evolution towards spiritual growth. The most well-known example is Jesus, who was sent here to liberate humanity’s heart from the suppressive, archaic order which existed at the time. By following the principles laid down by Jesus during his short incarnation, people were given the key to the unfoldment of heart-centered consciousness. If more people had chosen to live in the spirit of his teachings, the world would be a far better place today.

Here we are, two thousand years later, standing on the doorstep of the cosmic event called The Shift. Even today, humanity is still learning to open up to the heart-centered consciousness which is a prerequisite for future incarnations upon this planet. Those who choose to delay their entry into heart-centered consciousness at this critical juncture will be accommodated elsewhere in God’s universe for their future incarnations. Planet Earth, in her new frequency after The Shift, will no longer be a matching environment for the old level of self-serving consciousness.

Upon his physical death and ascension to the higher realms, Jesus resumed his natural, pre-incarnational state of archangelic existence. As the highest form of human existence, archangels exist in sixth density and fill that level of existence, plus the fifth-density soul realms, the fourth-density spirit realms, and the third-density physical world with their presence. Functionally, they are global spirits as their awareness encompasses all inhabited realms of the globe at all times.

You can communicate with archangels quite easily; there is no special protocol. You simply think of an archangel whose name holds a special connection for you – such as Michael the protector, Gabriel the messenger, or Raphael the healer. Or, you might choose Jesus, Buddha or Krishna as these world teachers are, by necessity of their function, global archangelic intelligences.

Because of their all-present global reach, your thought will connect you to the archangel of your choice, who will then focus upon you to see if you need some form of spiritual help. That will intensify their presence and their focus upon you. Then, support, guidance, inspiration or healing will be dispensed as needed.

Sometimes, archangels produce a physical incarnation as an aspect of themselves. One example is the Archangel Michael who, in recent centuries, has taken on a role which could be described as a Lord of Freedom. At one point, he incarnated as the now-legendary mystic Merlin who guided the young King Arthur to introduce a new mindset. Instead of the old dog-eat-dog order, with the toughest alpha dog in control of the pack, Merlin introduced a new idea of cooperative equality. As a result, humanity had an example that inspired its steady climb out of the suppression imposed by the rigid hierarchical control of the day.

The archangel Michael incarnated again in the 1300s as a monk in France in order to take his new physical body through ascension. In his ascended physical state, he showed no sign of aging over several centuries. French historians later declared that he, in his role as the Count of Saint Germain, was alive for at least 500-600 years. One person at the royal court of France in the 1700s met him when she was a young teenager, then again when she was 70, and was aghast that St Germain had not aged noticeably.

Not limiting his efforts to one country, he also successfully served as the main inspiration behind the American Revolution of 1776, where America broke away from the control of Great Britain and became independent. Later, he told people that he would be away for some time in order to impress a man called George Stevenson about how to advance steam locomotives. Stevenson then produced the Stevenson’s Rocket, which developed the design of steam locomotives to the point where railways could be built for general transportation.

In the late 1800’s, he began focusing on the re-emergence of spirituality in the West by influencing what became the Theosophical movement. In the 1930s, his most memorable work was given through Godfre Ray King in the “I Am” series of books. Today, he works with spiritual groups in order to help inspire the new spirituality which is emerging as Earth transforms into a new level of consciousness.

As new thought movements flourished in the late 20th Century, the name St Germain became associated with teachings through many channels. At this point, a word of caution is in order. I have found in my observations since the 1960s that, sometimes, these channels are less than genuine. Time seems to sort out the good from the bad as the genuine material typically survives for decades while the fraudulent versions fade away from lack of attention.

Genuine St Germain material inspires people with new, uplifting concepts and includes a call to action. The other kind lacks inspiration but often includes statements that are confusing or which invoke some form of fear, interspersed with nice-sounding generalities, surprising predictions, and a liberal dose of flattery.

The flattery part expresses as a message that you are part of a very special and unique group, one which is somehow above all others. If, however, you ignore the flattery and listen with your intuitive sense, you will probably detect the energetic vortex that is designed to chain you into the orbit of a tightly-controlled group that will actually take you nowhere in the direction of spiritual freedom.

When you consciously keep a watchful eye for such obvious pointers, your natural ability of discernment will operate perfectly well and your intuitive sense will tell you all you need to know about whether a source of teaching is worth your time.

My own personal experience with St Germain is limited to the last two years, after he was introduced to me by my primary guide, the Lord Protector of The Shift. I work as an inspirational writer, which means that I write while being fed inspirational concepts and material from the guide. I am pleased to announce that, after many sessions of working together, we have produced extensive material to encourage spiritual growth in the New Reality. My next task is to work on packaging this new material into a format best suited for distance teaching.
