Believing is Seeing

Today’s massive, ongoing Shift in consciousness is a shift from intellectual awareness to holistic awareness.

Intellectual awareness is a function of the solar plexus chakra, where mental ability is developed in a linear direction. Examples of linear thought include the performing of arithmetic and the operating of machinery. In this mode of consciousness, people have learned to develop a rigid discipline of “seeing is believing” in order to find what works and what doesn’t.

With holistic awareness, the heart chakra is developed, allowing issues of separation to be resolved and integrated. Holistic awareness means that mind, body & spirit are seen as closely related facets of the human being. This heart-centered awareness is a viewpoint of integration or wholeness which heals the fears and discords that come with solar plexus consciousness.

There is a paradox with moving from linear intellect to heart-centered consciousness. While the intellectual phase of consciousness may say that “Seeing is believing,” the holistic phase requires quite the reverse. In holistic consciousness, opposites are often both true as they are seen as opposite sides of the same coin or as polar opposites of the same issue.

Awareness that is limited to the intellect is subject to issues of separation; of us versus them, of struggling for resources that are perceived as scarce instead of solving the problem of their scarcity. Holistic awareness includes the idea that consciousness creates realities, that something must be created in consciousness – “believed” – before they can become a reality.

So, in holistic consciousness, “Believing is seeing” becomes a statement of truth, even though it is the opposite of “Seeing is believing.” Instead, it adds the understanding that reality is created by consciousness. We are not merely observers of what is. We create what is.

Traditionally, people have entered a realm of holistic, heart-centered awareness when they pass on from this life. In the afterlife, their task is to heal the fears and hates of their physical lives and transform them into love and forgiveness, thus integrating themselves with others, rather than feeling separate from them.

Today, due to The Shift, more and more people are embracing holistic, heart-centered consciousness while still alive in physical bodies. As the heart is also the gateway to spiritual consciousness, this global movement is producing a revolution in spiritual unfoldment.

Spiritual consciousness is flowering in the global consciousness of humanity as The Shift progresses. Today’s pioneers in consciousness are people just like yourself. They are exploring the new territory of unconditional love and experiencing a reunion with their own inner, spiritual connections.

The higher aspect of heart-centered consciousness is fully connected to your inner being, or soul. Your inner being is fully connected to the consciousness of the universe and to that which created the universe. Infinite Being is within each of us. We are Infinite Being.

The daily focus that we apply to our five senses and their connection to the outside world is just like performing a part in a play. We act out the part of being us, along the general theme of the type of events that we planned for this life. We ride along through the journey of this life, gaining the type of experiences that we planned to gain.

When you open up to your heart, and through that, reconnect to your own spiritual source, then you have become a part of the very future of humanity.

The Shift is heading towards a world where unconditional love and acceptance is normal, where strife is relegated to the distant past, where the true potential of human beings can express itself in the daily joy of being all that you are.

With heart-powered consciousness comes inspiration, love and creativity

Posted by Admin on January 23, 2012

The pioneers within society – one in four adults – have already shifted to heart-powered consciousness while the others are finding their way and following suit as soon as they become ready.

The news media, meanwhile, appears to be under the impression that people find fear entertaining or compelling. They believe that a news story that engenders fear is exciting in that it grips the imagination. In reality, people are working through their fears rather than being held captive by them. When you have seen enough news stories and moved on to the next stage of consciousness, then you turn the news off and set yourself free from the stimulation of fabricated fears.

Society, as a whole, works through stages of consciousness. These stages, which were called memes by legendary social scientist Clare Graves, are patterns of development in social behavior. He discovered two tiers of memes and performed extensive research on the first tier of six memes.

This basic tier of six memes reflects the progress of mankind from the dark ages through modern times. In addition to this, today, the second tier has emerged in enough people for the first two of its memes to be identified.

Meme Keyword Attributes
          1 Survival Basic, personal survival.
          2 Safety Clans, superstitions.
3 Power Courage, survival of the fittest.
4 Truth Finding order and purpose in life.
5 Prosperity Achievement, striving to succeed.
          6 Communitarian Community and caring.
          7 Systemic Responsible freedom.
8 Holistic Global view, deep intuitive development.

In pre-medieval times, the predominant mindset in Europe was that of meme number two, that of superstition and tight-knit clans. Then, European civilization passed though the next two stages; tribal conflict (meme three), and then the seeking of order through a hierarchical, feudal system (meme four).

Three hundred years ago, social progress accelerated as meme number five, that of individual empowerment, came into vogue. While the engines of commerce and technology took three hundred years to develop, it has only taken the last forty years for the sixth meme, that of community and caring to appear and spread in the form of today’s ‘Cultural Creatives.’

In the 1990s in America, a study by Paul Ray and Sherry Anderson revealed that a huge 26 percent of adults have made a comprehensive shift in their worldview, values and way of life. These Cultural Creatives are people who love nature, respect the Earth and are deeply concerned about the environment. They like to develop close relationships with each other, and to help and encourage other people to develop their abilities. They care about personal and spiritual development, and want more equality for women and all cultural groups.

This means that if you are searching for better quality of life, less stress, better health, and a simpler lifestyle that includes more spirituality, then you are one of a growing number of people who have already become a part of the greatest social transformation of all time.

In my book, “The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness,” I point out that these stages, or memes, correspond exactly to the stages of consciousness in the human chakra system. For example, the solar plexus chakra has two faces. The forward-facing solar plexus chakra has the characteristic of searching for order and purpose in life, just like meme number four. The backward-facing solar plexus chakra resonates exactly one musical half-tone higher in frequency and has the characteristic of striving to succeed in personal achievement, just like meme number five.

“The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness” details my research on how the twelve memes of social progress correlate exactly with the twelve half-tones of the musical octave and also with the twelve faces of the seven major chakras.

The Twelve Chakra Faces 12 Chakras

Society, today, is working through its fears in its journey towards heart-centered consciousness. This level of consciousness is associated with meme number six, the receptive, sensitive, forward face of the heart chakra.

Once people discover the freedom of heart-centered consciousness, the next step is what Professor Clare Graves called “a momentous leap” into the second tier of six memes. While the first tier of memes is one of basic consciousness, the second tier is one of spiritual awareness. By stepping from heart-centered consciousness to heart-powered consciousness, each individual reaches meme number seven, the first meme in that second, spiritual tier.

A world in transformation may seem chaotic at times because change does cause turbulence. When an established pattern of consciousness is disturbed by a rise in frequency, a choppy pattern appears, one which is searching for a new form. At this time, personal and societal discords can abound as old wounds arise seeking attention and resolution. As the frequency of consciousness rises even more towards the new level, the unsettled patterns morph into an entirely new pattern, one which is even more complex and beautiful than the one it replaces.

People reach heart-centered consciousness, the initial, meme six stage of heart consciousness in their own time. Then they take that next step into the spiritual tier of memes and experience the energy and drive of meme seven’s heart-powered consciousness.

With heart-powered consciousness comes the inspiration of a deeper sense of intuition, the emotional rewards of unconditional love, and a newfound level of inner creativity.

With inspiration, love and creativity, a new dimension of living is born, one which can truly help to create a new and heart-powered world.

The world is changing. Welcome to the New Reality!

New Discoveries About the Human Chakra System

In my first book, The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness, told the story of how I had made five new discoveries relating to the chakras, or human energy system.

I was fascinated by the similarity of the nature of the chakras to the stages of human development observed by social scientist, Clare Graves. He had documented eight stages of human development, ranging from ‘caveman consciousness’ all the way up to today’s world. He had also spotted an emerging ninth stage, but did not have enough data to reach solid conclusions on that one.

Graves had come to the realization that, today, humankind is preparing for a momentous leap from the first tier of six stages into the second tier. This leap, he said, would be a mega-change within civilization which would dwarf all previous changes.

When you compare his work to the human chakra system, he was pointing to the emergence of heart-centered consciousness. When the compassion and sense of social responsibility of the heart chakra goes mainstream, the world will become a very different place.

Traditionally, there are seven major chakras, but the more I questioned the traditions, the more discoveries I made. Humans are progressing through a total of twelve stages of experience which are a built-in design feature of human consciousness. It was this realization which led me to discover the hidden link between these stages and the natural frequency bands of human consciousness.

Most reference books list seven major chakras as vortices of energy. Here is how they are typically portrayed:

1. Instinctual. The chakra connected to the base of the spine prepares vitality, or life energy, for the chakras above it. It provides the base frequency of human existence including the instinct for survival.

2. Emotional. The sacral chakra powers the basic emotions or passions of human life.

3. Intellectual. The solar plexus chakra is used in the development of intellect or mental ability in a linear direction. For example, arithmetic is linear, so is algebra, so are computer processes. Linear thinking is a logical, left-brain skill. Holistic, right-brain skills, on the other hand, include the ability to see a pattern within a whole picture.

4. Holistic. The heart chakra is developed as issues of separation become resolved and integrated. Mind, body & spirit are seen as facets of the whole human being.

5. Creative. The throat chakra’s function is creativity. It is capable of inspiring the imagination to create new ideas, inventions and works of art. Its further development results in the power of conscious creation, the ability to consciously transform your reality.

6. Spiritual. The third eye chakra is the home frequency of your soul family. While a person’s closest soul mates can be usually counted on the fingers of two hands, soul families are much larger. They are extended, related groups of, typically, 1,000 individuals. When you feel a yearning for your true spiritual home, you are remembering your connection to this level of consciousness. In the sequence of reincarnation, it is to this frequency of consciousness that you ultimately ascend in spirit before planning your next incarnation.

7. Universal. The crown chakra is your connection to the universe on a cosmic scale. Its complete activation brings the peak state of human achievement and enlightenment, that of cosmic consciousness.

Within the entire range of human consciousness, we have seven major chakras and, yet, twelve stages of human development. Could there be a relationship between the two? Obviously seven does not equal twelve… unless, of course, you’re playing the C octave on a piano keyboard.

There are seven white, or major, keys within each C octave, and yet an octave always contains a total count of twelve black and white keys before the sequence repeats itself in the next higher octave.

I found it eerily coincidental that there would be seven major keys within a twelve-note octave, and also seven major chakras within a frequency range covered by twelve social stages. It was as if I had stumbled upon some beautiful, synchronistic design feature within Creation, but, initially, I couldn’t yet identify exactly what it was.

Then, when I remembered that the seven chakras have a total of twelve faces, the excitement of discovery began to fill the air.

I pursued the path which had opened up in front of me and made a total of five new discoveries relating to the human chakra system.

If you would like to follow the unraveling of these discoveries, the whole story is included in my first book, The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness.
